Have Faith in the truth: that all things come Good in the end
If the future is brighter and warmer then things can’t be so bad
It may be Dark and Cold today but that’s no reas…

So, hang in there, just hold on tight
Hang in there, you know I’m right.
The day is Cold, yesterday was too
But it’s just a phase is what I’m telling you
The Cold will warm up, it really won’t last.
The grey skies will change, become a thing of the past
Replaced by warmth and a clearer, bluer sky.
It’s a proven fact and not some reassuring lie
There will be a sunnier, brighter day
I may not know how or in what way
But this much I can say I do know
Today will be gone, replaced by tomorrow

like the rain
that slowly pitter patters on the window
that drums a beat on the roof as it falls steadily
that drenches every atom, sweeping away all in its path
like the sun
that kisses the body leaving a trail of warmth where it goes
that warms all it touches, even briefly
that smoulders, burning to a crisp all in its path
like the wind
that blows gently, caressing strands of hair loose
that cools and soothes skin warmed by the sun
that whips up a frenzied storm, blowing away all in its path

Captivated by SEIZURE, a sculpture by Roger Hiorn
The walk from Elephant and Castle tube station pass the lively market was vibrant enough with the rich colours of autumn. I’d go as far as to say the walk to this highly anticipated exhibition was fitting, it set the scene. I walk on to Harper Road, following signs that point the interested visitor to the SEIZURE exhibition. It’s not a long walk to the estate of one-bedroomed derelict and identical 1960’s flats, forming a U shape around a couple of trees, the most colour you’ll see on the estate… Continue
